Smashwords Interview

What is the theme of your novels?
Fear Among Us exposes faulty personal, societal, and public-policy choices that result from being afraid of the unknown.
Dreamy House delves into echo chambers and confirmation bias as well as how obsessiveness and lack of empathy can drive a dagger into a family. It also examines a teenager who rises above her family's chaos to succeed in life.
Several novels are in various stages: Standing Firm is about incompetence and greed, both personal and corporate. I hope to release it later this year. Chain Smoker is a crime/mystery about an arsonist and the investigator who solves the vexing crime. I might release it later this year. Feral Cats is on a back burner.
What is your background?
I’m a retired management consultant with decades of experience training professionals in the workplaces. Those experiences exposed me to systemic and personal failures in corporations, small businesses, and governments at all levels. My more than 30 years of experience in aviation-related fields reinforced my acceptance of strict rules and regulations for the public good. My 20 years of internet commerce broadened my scope and horizons.
