Fit for Faith - 7 weeks to improved spiritual and physical health

I like the fact that "Fit for Faith" addresses not only physical health, but also spiritual health. I am a firm believer that they are intertwined! Not only are there great tips for exercise and eating healthy, but I love the 49 day workbook to help me apply the material. Each day in the workbook includes a prayer, questions to answer (or journal), a myth and a fact about health and then a scripture. This helps to keep me focused on my goals but also on God.
A Strand of Pearls

A Strand of Pearls is a moving demonstration of the power of Christ to bring healing to broken lives. As the contributors shared raw accounts of their lives, I appreciated their honesty, openness and vulnerability. It helps me to know that I'm not alone in my struggles. And yet they also shared the hope they found in Christ and gave the glory to Him for their changed lives...very encouraging! I highly recommend this book!
Women Of Strength - A devotional to improve spiritual & physical health

I really enjoyed this devotional. It is different than any other devotional I currently have and enjoyed the change. Each devotional is broken down into several sections as follows:
Devotional - I liked the personal stories she shared.
Exercise for the funny bone - a short joke or pun.
Exercise Q & A - she answers questions she has received on exercise and fitness.
Faith Lift - short prayer.
Reflection - short refection.
Top Tip - usually a fitness tip.
Bible Truth - a scripture that relates.
Challenge - an application either physically or spiritually.
Praise Move - an exercise to incorporate.
Just reading this devotional inspired me to be more physically active and exercise as well as spend more time with God. Recommended!
