In the course of a diverse 15 year career in Media, Marketing ,Promotional management and Hospitality management, Heather Elliott has proven to be a skilled executive, visionary entrepreneur and a respected motivational speaker and facilitator.
In addition to working for some of the world's finest hotel management companies including the famed Plaza Hotel and Trump International Hotel and Towers. She has been credited to the success of several large production and promotional endeavours both in Jamaica and overseas including the Micheal Jackson Concert of Madison Square Gardens in 2001, STING Reggae Festival, Sinbad Seventies Soul Music Festival and many other local and international shows. Heather has developed successful Training and Marketing programs for some of the Caribbean's top resort chains and companies including Superclubs Resorts in 2002 and Sandals Flagship Leading Hotel Property-Royal Plantation in 2004, KIA Motors Jamaica and World Brands Limited.
Heather has also worked freelance in Entertainment, Media and Publishing and has hosted a few top rated caribbean programs including 'Hype Zone' for TVJ,Jamaica- a number one rated entertainment show. An avid writer since high school, not only did Heather served as her Alma Mater's College Newspaper editor, she also wrote commentaries and served in the past as social writer for a few Caribbean publications . Heather frequently contributes to the several blogs worldwide as guest writer on social and entertainment topics.
Heather is now the Owner and CEO of Heather Elliott Services and City Temps on Demand based in Florida , Dallas and New York City . She continues to speak to women on empowerment and personal development engagements in the US and is also a favorite youth and college speaker for several Social Education programs in Canada and the United States. She has also been a Speaker and Consulting Programs Leader for NYS Youth Camps in Jamaica.
Heather is working on her first book entitled 'Bold, Forward and Beautiful', due out in December July 2010.
Heather attended Oakwood College in Huntsville Alabama where she studied Mass Communications and Public Relations and is currently pursuing a BSc. in Organizational Physcology.
