This is precisely why I love the Pandaverse. I have read/watched several origin stories which would bite the hero in the behind at some point in the story, but rarely is it done well enough for me to care about the hero. Often-time they're just characters on a chessboard.
Gregg makes me care.
The story was true to the radio drama in which it is set, even though it still retains its accessibility as a stand-alone novel.
Time after time, Gregg delivers great stories about the masked mystery man, and this is no exception.
If you like superhero comics, but you don't like all the convoluted story-lines that are the result of too many characters, then this is your best bet.
