The Legend of League Park on March 19, 2014

I found the book to be very well written and flow smoothly. It is a nice quick read and entertaining for me despite my lack of interest in baseball (I read due to recommendation of friend). I would recommend this to most people with the caveat that it is less about baseball per say and more about two women trying to fit into the world of baseball.

This is a short story from what appears to be a collection in progress. I found the story to be interesting and fun to read. The characters are compelling and well developed for the length of the piece. I knew nothing of the La Befana myth before reading, but this retelling is a fun little tail. I would recommend this who wants a fun short story to read.

I was unfamiliar with the lore around jack-o-lanterns before reading this book. I found this retelling to be a particularly interesting and fun story. Overall, I would recommend this book.

This addition is another fun story for the series. Characters from the story are developed and introduced in the prior books of the series, however, I think it would be entertaining even if you haven't read the previous stories. This book takes place at the founding of Rome and offers an interesting retelling of the legend of the founding brothers.
