Peter Brighouse

Biography

Started writing in early 1990's just after daughter Louisa, was born. Centred on family cat stories to exclusion of any other subjects. My author heroines are Beatrix Potter, Alison Uttley and Judith Kerr. Having retired after 41 years at the administrative mill (University and NHS), am now a self-employed eBay reseller and part-time children's book author and illustrator. Find illustrating takes far longer than writing. Although writing for pleasure, desire success in order to support our favourite charities and our children's future. Have focussed on all the writing tasks quite well over the last four years, spending about 5 to 10 hours a week. Have produced eight self-published books (Louisa's Ginger Nuts Series). www.louisasgingernuts.co.uk
