Clare Head

Biography

I love writing and I love writing fun stories, that capture the humor in our everyday lives.
Like most people, I've lived in a variety of places and had to work in a variety of jobs over the years, that give you a broad view of life in general. I've worked with some wonderful people, awe-inspiring, generous, big-hearted people that have enriched my life no end. But I've also worked with some schemers, bitches and sneaks. It's part of life's rich tapestry isn't it? I throw a lot of those life experiences into my writing, producing, what I hope to be, outrageous, fun and entertaining stories.

Smashwords Interview

What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
Leaving behind the sensible me and unleashing the mischievous clown that I think lurks in all of us.
Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
I grew up in the Cotswolds in England. The very fact that my school was three miles away was the biggest influence on my writing as I had to walk most days and the 50 minute treck through muddy fields and country lanes gave me plenty of time to think. As any child does, I fantasized about living a life completely different to the one I was living, which ultimately lead to the stories I wrote.

Take one hot-headed city executive called Evie. Add in a devious but oh, so hot, married boyfriend, competitive work mates and an exciting job prospect in New York and things start to get interesting. Throw in a poisonous house-guest, a sexy Australian zookeeper and a whole heap of trouble and you have all the ingredients for a riotous tale of modern romance.
