It has been a long time since I have looked forward to the release of a book as eagerly as this one. I was not disappointed once while reading it. It delivered everthing I hoped for and more. I can't wait for Beverley Kendall's next book!
I like the idea behind the story but I found the way it was written really frustrating. Certain scenes lacked detail and I found myself confused and couldn’t grasp what was happening in them.
Also towards the end of the book some paragraphs written in earlier chapters were repeated in later ones.
For the story line I’d give it a four but because I found it difficult to read it gets a three
I have been an avid fan of Beverley Kendall's historical romances and although this book is a completely different genre it is an absolute winner! I loved every second of it and if it wasn't for the fact that I desperately needed sleep last night I would have read all through the night.
This book proves what a versatile story teller Beverley Kendall is. I am waiting with baited breath for the next book in the series!
I checked relentlessly every month to see if the next book in the Sanguine Series was available and jumped for joy when I realised Touch of Silver was out. It didn't disappoint once! I can't get enough of Melissa R. Smith's books!!
I started the series a bit backwards by reading this book first so it took a bit of while to figure out who everyone is. Now, I absolutely love it! I'm going back to read Indy and Lee's story asap! Plus cannot wait to read Ally's story.
Absolutely loved the book! I cried, I laughed and fell in love with Wes...who wouldn't with a guy that says, "I can tell you have a good heart because the minute I met you, I wanted to fight for it." Sigh...
