Berry Lee Canote lives in Central Missouri where he was born and raised. He developed an interest in writing at an early age, and several stories in the local newspaper. While living in Texas he published his first book on Heathenry under the pen name Swain Wodening. He went on to publish seven books on that religion. Most recently, he has published books on the history of Randolph County, and a book on his return to Christianity. Berry is divorced with one child. He enjoys the great outdoors, historical reenactment, television, role playing games, and writing.
