Smashwords Interview

When did you first start writing?
I've been writing my whole life I think, at least, from as long as I can remember. I have always felt the writing is soothing. My first work was published in my school magazine when I was in seventh grade and since then I've been doing it pretty consistently.
Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
No. I don't really remember my first story. I do remember writing as a kid. All my family members and friends used to read my stories and I believe it was their encouragement then due to which I am still writing.
When I look back, the story which I remember was about a lot of Princes and Princesses because I always thought that just one Prince and a Princess are not enough and every story should have at least a dozen. I have always preferred writing fantasies although I cannot tell why. May be its because I have a wild imagination and reality is not good enough for me.

  • Elven Jewel (book 1 in the Hunters of Reloria series) on March 24, 2014

I must say that it has been a long time since I read a fantasy as good as Lords of The Rings. I simply loved this book and cannot wait to start reading the next one. Elves, halflings, fairies, lizard-like-scaly creatures, a plan for invasion, a quest to save a land, and what not! This books has it all. It is a fantasy worth reading and I applaud the author for writing such an original, refreshing tale, which will lead the readers to a mystical land they will never want to leave. Two Halflings and their fairies are the first one to see the scaly invaders, and now it is their task to reach Elves and warn them of the impending danger. Their land is rich in food and the fear of invasion is the reason why elves used their magic to build a shield around it. Now these invaders have found a way to penetrate through it and their mission is to break the shield and lead their army in. They want to capture this rich in resources land. But will they succeed in their evil plans or not is yet to be seen..... This book is so well written that once started reading you will not be able to put it down. Fantasy is one of my preferred genre and Elven Jewel did not disappoint me in any way. I will recommend this book to any fantasy lover. In fact even if you weren't a fantasy lover, read this, and you may change your opinion about fantasies.
  • Hunters' Quest (book 2 in the Hunters of Reloria series) on March 30, 2014

This is the second book in Hunters of Reloria series and just as good as the book one. The story starts from where it was left last time. Although Vargai lost the war but they were able to capture the Elven princess, who posses Elevn Jewel. Without it defenses of Reloria are weak and to protect their land hunter's start a quest. They also need to warn the others about coming danger. Along the way we are introduced to new characters which will help the hunters on their quest. The story left me spellbound. I think i have developed a new taste for fantasy-adventure. It is a captivating tale of a world where magical beings lives together. There are heroes and villains. Characters which are so good that you will fall in love with them, I have. I can't wait to read the next book. I am sure that it will be full of adventure and action packed, just like first two books. I have given this book 5-stars because of engaging story line and well developed characters. Also because I had a lot of fun reading it. It made me laugh and anticipate the next thing to come. An amazing experience which I'll love to have again and again. I hope that the writer keeps writing such beautiful stories. :) P.S. I especially loved the prolong, which gives a brief introduction (with graphics) of all the hunters, whom we met in book one.
  • Wolf Moon: A Grazi Kelly Novel on April 16, 2014

I liked this book a lot. Its a story about a werewolf who is in the dark about herself and when the time came for her to shift she had to deal with a lot of things. Her uncle came to visit out of the blue, she had no prior knowledge of her father's family. Things seemed quite complicated and she was confused about whom to trust or not to trust. And then there were the killings. police ruled it as animal attacks but was that all? Or was there more to the story? She had a normal teenage life. Mean girls tormenting her and a cute guy she was crushing on. Life wasn't easy as it was but then things got even worse. She was to lead an army of werewolves to fight demons and she was so not ready for that.... This book intrigued me from the very beginning. I loved reading about Grazi and her life. All the supporting characters were well written as well. As book one its clearly a "build up" to the main plot so the story leaves a lot of unanswered questions. But there was no frustrating cliff hanger so people like me can enjoy it (I just don't like cliff hanger). I will recommend this book to any paranormal fiction's fan. Its worth a read!!
  • Dragon's Revenge (book 3 in the Hunters of Reloria series) on Aug. 27, 2014

Dragon's Revenge is the conclusion of Hunters of Reloria series. I have read and reviewed the first two books and waiting for this one to be released. I loved this series and had a lot of fun reading about amazing world of Reloria. In many ways it reminded be of the "middle earth" but it also possess an originality that made it all the more fun. This third book starts from where the book 2 left off. On one side Reloria is under attack and on the other princess and her companions are struggling to get away from their enemies, trapped in a foreign planet with no way of getting to Reloria in sight. later they joined forces with rebels and were able to rescue wizards. Who then helped them to open a portal, so that they cab return to their homeland. Things are getting fierce by the day and mountain people were killed. When hunters are re-united, their mission was to fight and defeat their common enemy. We meet some new characters along the way and all the old characters remain just as entertaining as before. My favourite character in this one is Asher-a shape shifter, who is mountain man and a dragon at the same time. But all the other characters are good too. and the climax was indeed epic. Loved it and recommend it to all book lovers/readers.
