This is the first piece of work I've read since joining Smashwords. What a wonderful little sci-fi story. Pity it wasn't longer and would love to read what happens next. I really enjoyed this.
  • Ungrateful Heir on March 11, 2015

I disagree with James Jenkins. This is a very good short story. I agree with Brenna Pappert, a full length novel is what the reader needs. Maybe there's one being written now? Another story I really enjoyed.
  • Pulchritudinous Book 1 on March 11, 2015

I don't have an ereader yet so I'm reading books online. This was another quick read for me as I have two nieces who are 5 and 7 years old. I enjoyed it and I know they will too when they visit on the weekend. A wonderful and sensitive story with lovely pictures. I don't agree with Jeanne21, the pictures couldn't scare any child, they're lovely. I enjoyed reading this book myself.
  • Alive on March 11, 2015

Maybe it's just me but I thought it was full of suspense. Beautifully and sensitively written. As always with this authors' work, longer would be better but I think this is because we crave for more, it's that good.
  • Time on March 11, 2015

Wonderful poem and very true. I agree with Rosemary J. Peel it has rhythm and flow. I'm new to Smashwords and still can't understand how people delight in a piece of work but give less than 5 stars, beats me but this is definitely a 5 star poem.
  • Harmony's Magic Pyjamas on March 11, 2015

What a lovely story. I really enjoyed it. My two nieces that will be visiting this weekend will get this read to them (I get to read it again). :) I am new to ebooks and have noticed a few books I've read today aren't being paragraphed. Is it just me or is this normal? Didn't take away from the story. Another 5 stars here.
  • A Vampire in the Vatican 'Brotherhood of the Sword' on March 13, 2015

Well I've found an author that gives pure story with no clutter. A Vampire in the Vatican was an exciting read for me. LOTS of story and everything moved quickly. I agree it's funny and sad and full of surprises.
  • Poolside on March 13, 2015

Excellent short, short story. Or do they call it flash fiction now? I really enjoyed it. Only found one spelling error but that's no big deal. Still a 5 star read.
  • Nun with a Gun on March 13, 2015

After reading A Vampire in the Vatican I had to buy Nun with a Gun. The continuing story of Inspector Martinelli has a lot of intrigue but it moves along quickly. Very nicely written and once again pure story. The new characters are wonderful especially Wilhelm and the basic story is fascinating. It is a love story intertwined amongst Nazi Gold and the vampires are a little more subtle this time. I agree that the title fits the book even though I thought it was a bit odd before reading it. Another book I really enjoyed from this author.
  • Zombies! Summer Special: Growing Pains on March 13, 2015

Another wonderful author I've discovered that writes pure story without clutter. What a spooky yet satisfying short story. I really enjoyed reading this one.
  • Junk Bot Wizard on March 14, 2015

Another great little sci-fi story from this author. Fast moving which is what I like. It takes someone with a great imagination to write something like this. Thoroughly enjoyed it.
  • In Extremis on March 14, 2015

What a wonderfully written zombie story. Very emotional and a lot happening in a short read. Being new to this reviewing thing I still don't understand how someone can love a story and yet give a low star rating. As for me, this is certainly a 5 star story, I couldn't give anything less.
  • Red Flood on March 14, 2015

I thought this was a well thought out and nicely written story. I enjoyed it from start to finish. Please write more.
  • Particle on March 14, 2015

Another great story from this author. I agree another book cover is required to attract attention. I read it because I'd read another of this authors' work. The story once again was wonderful and a pleasure to read. Thank you.
