This was a nice relaxing fun read that kept me interested wondering if Shae would get back to Earth and how two people from different galaxies could have a relationship if she did get home. The fantasy aspects of the book with magic, elves and such was done just enough to be good and whimsical without being too childish or corny. I love fantasy romance and enjoyed this one. Heck I finished it in two days, I will definitely check out the werewolf ones the author has coming out.
After reading The Mating I was excited to see the story continue and wondered if it would have the same riveting action. It did. I liked how the original characters were brought back in, but that it was centered around two new characters for you to love. Look forward to reading The Finding.
Wow. I blushed reading the “playtime” scenes. Loved the story and the character development. Gavin is dominating yet you see glimpses of a softer side. I liked Samantha being strong and holding her own, yet she does willingly submit during playtime. However it’s not in a weak, anything you say, oh great master sort of way. As for the spelling and such mentioned in a previous review, I didn’t notice, but then I was too wrapped up in the storyline. The only thing I didn’t like was that it ended and I have to wait for the next one to come out.
