I received a copy of the book from Ms. Anjum. This is such a thought-provoking book, I want to tell everyone to read it! Saffron September was an insightful and bittersweet look into the Muslim culture and lives of Zara and Ali. I overlooked some idiosyncrasies because I wanted to see how this ended. I was not disappointed. My last thought as I closed the book was, “Breathe!” as the quirks were suddenly insignificant.
