Growing up in Bay Point, California Marc spent much of his time creating and exploring worlds and stories. He finally realized that once he got the stories written down they stopped haunting his sleeping and waking dreams. So he started writing them down.
He writes the kind of stories that he enjoys which are stories about families written for families.
Marc currently lives in northern Utah with his wife, and kids.
What's the story behind your latest book?
On the outside the story is about a man who with the help of a magic item learns the identity of world's next great tyrant. However how he responds to this discovery is complicated by the fact the future tyrant is currently an 8-year-old orphan.
The heart of the story is the relationship between the man and the boy and the concepts of choice, love, and family.
What are you working on next?
Right now I'm working on the second book in the Fate's Foe series. Looking forward to developing Jas' character and a few others.
For as long as anyone can remember Aguarius Forest has been a refuge for all life. For Almas it is much more than that. It has been his childhood sanctuary for him and his best friend, an elvish child named Ulec. Both he and his best friend are about to learn that good things don't last forever as an undead army prepares an assault on the human kingdom of Yucaipa, starting with their forest.
Four short stories that take place in the World of Mundial. Stories include dragons, elves, magic, ship battles, and a little time distortion. Also meet again some of my beloved characters from both of my book series.
Mathen is a successful businessman thanks in no small part to a magical crest he wears around his neck that gives him glimpses into the future. His life is turned upside down when one of these glimpses shows him someone destined to become the worst and most evil tyrant the world will ever know, and shows him this person in the form of a small 8-year-old boy who just attempted to pick his pocket.
For four years Aguarius Forest has been Almas' childhood sanctuary where he and his best friend, Ulec, an elven child, have played with little knowledge of the wars that have plagued the world. But now, evil forces have set their eyes on their forest and threaten all that they hold dear.
A short story about a young boy named Almas who finds himself lost in the forest owned by his family. A forest surrounded by rumors and legends about a forest spirit. As Almas searches for his way home he will discover just how much truth there is to these legends.
