I've gotta say I really enjoyed reading these poems. Gary's approach to his writing in a way encourages one to create pictures in their own minds of what they're reading. His approach is very original. My fave so far out of the poems, is the one called "Heaven's Gate" . I can't wait to read his other works, would suggest this to my friends. Great stuff.
I just began reading this book...usually I'd wait until after I'm done reading, but I've gotta tell ya, it's got me really hooked. Gary again has hit one straight out of the ballpark. His imagination astounds me, this read is the bomb...I LOVE it. you instantly get a feel for the characters and their adventures in this story, Egmar, Seeda. "Nomads Of The Gods" does take you somewhere else, not of this earth. Yes, it's long..but once you get into it, the story does not drag at all. You want to escape to another place?...check out this book trust me.
Another home run :). Honestly I don't know where Gary gets his inspiration from, but I hope it keeps influencing him!. Smooth read, I never stopped reading "COLOSSUS" from the moment I started reading it. Roughly 20 pages of amazing imagination. It draws you inwards wondering where the plot would take you next, and then it goes in another direction. I enjoyed this very much, now I have to get back to Gary's other book that I started on a few weeks ago :).
