This is the first independent author I've read, and thanks to B&N free book offerings I've discovered this fantastic series. The depth of the characters and the world that Mr. Lalonde creates is amazing. I've even put 2 Dean Koontz books on the back burner to finish this series. The first 'broadcast', broadcast 0 is free, how can you go wrong with that?!
I was so thrilled to see that this "novella" was expended, er, expanded to novel length! The action was so fast and relentless. I never felt like I had a chance to catch my breath, and that's not a bad thing at all. I think the only drawback to that is I was left wanting so much more. This could easily have been twice the length and still not feel like any part moved anywhere near slow. It also speaks volumes to the .. well, volumes of the Spinward Fringe universe. It's so expansive, and really has endless possibilities. Thanks to the author for bringing us such a wonderful universe, and branching out to include some stories of other people in the SpinFrin world.
