From drama, laughing and sadness, this book deserves 5 stars. I always thought of witches being scary, evil, and ugly. These witches warmed my heart. I laughed so much at things they did and quite frankly, I imagined my self living with them. The time of turning a little boy into a dog because he was bad in a store. Can you imagine what people were saying? What about the poor Mother? This is one of several times you will laugh. I don't think the Author wrote this book just for laughs. There is so much love and kindness for other people. April gave her love to these witches and they truly became a part of her family. From the first page until the last page, you will enjoy it. 5 stars to you Mr. Hicks, you have created a best seller.
