Great book , humor with a hint of romance in the life of two very ordinary people, but what makes this book stick in your mind for a long time after you finish it, is the description of everyday life of the  characters ,personally i started recalling some of the scenes from the book every now and then and find myself smiling at some of the main character jokes.
  • Lovejoy's World on Dec. 13, 2015

Amazing adventure the book was amazing!! I really loved it , and that's from someone who doesn't like adventure books! What i liked is how the h&h were normal people, I liked reading the pov of both h&h. I liked the written accents. I LOVED the escalating love story and last but not least I LOVED the humor ,it is so funny and i laughed out loud at numerous occasions through it all... And i wanted more, call me greedy, i just like the writer's sense of humor. , the metric system is a good refreshing change. I liked the plot, not too slow, but what i really liked about it was how unpredictable it is!!! I will definitely miss Keira and Wally. Dai alanye is one of a few writers i feel the urge to reread their books more than once.

What a journey!!! A tale of a brave young girl starts with unanswered questions, takes us in a long adventurous trip to find a mysterious treasure, and ends with the happy ending you can always count on in a Dai Alanye book, a treasure hunt story not like any other, written in a unique way that will keep you captivated until the last page, wondering what will happen next. great read and highly recommended .

  • Not That I... on Feb. 18, 2016

SUPERB, Definitely not like any romance i've ever read before, you'll never guess what will happen next, you'll laugh out loud -a lot- and you'll relate to at least one of the characters in this book, and last but not least, the author managed to write a convincing romantic plot without the "i love you" cliche . Can't remember the last time I laughed so hard reading a contemporary romance book, really enjoyable read, highly recommended and I'm so reading this again."
  • Goblin Realm on Feb. 21, 2016

Very enjoyable read Enjoyed the mystery and the chemistry between two main characters at the beginning of it, and the adrenaline rush you get from reading the action scenes, and the dialogue. The writing is so good ,so engaging that you end up fearing for the lives of our heroes and heroines. It was amazing how the author takes you from the fighting mode and struggling to survive situations, to settling down and romantic mode, just to take us back to some more action. The action scenes as well as the semi quiet scenes back at the village were very well written, same with the dialogue, it makes you want to read on just to see what will happen next. In this book, as in all of Alanye's books, there is always something new to learn and to know more about , whether it's about weaponry, hunting, mining or even some enjoyable history and astronomy lessons. I really like it and can't wait for the sequel for more adventures and sweet romance. Highly recommended.
  • Wait a Minute! on March 03, 2016

Enjoyable and funny read. the school familiar atmosphere at the beginning takes you back to the good old days of high school, loved the homey feeling in the Trask household. This book tells what happens after the HEA ,Which is great if you read the first two books, even if it focuses mainly on Frankie, we can still enjoy Chuck and Charlie. Frankie was an amazing very well-written character. the book cover is a success and this is Highly recommended for everyone.
  • Hide the Child on March 21, 2016

That was Brilliant To say i loved it would be an understatement. A real page turner with believable plot and characters that will keep you wondering what will happen next, it will keep you guessing until the end. It's a roller coaster of emotions that leaves you wanting more. Really enjoyable and romantic read, I would highly recommend it to any romance reader looking for the real deal.
  • Venom & Sand on April 14, 2016

I'm not a huge fan of sci-fi, but i liked this one! the bizarre setting was very believable and the humor was enjoyable. The astronomical "facts" were very convincing and believable too. The various types of characters in this book were interesting and the storyline was intriguing. Highly recommended read.
  • Darts & Dryads on April 19, 2016

This was different! It kept my interest from beginning to end. A refreshing change of setting in this book (for me at least) from dangerous sailing and scorching deserts in the first two books. The author did a great job depicting this new planet, makes you want to know more about it. The mystery kept me reading till the end. And as a romance reader I liked the new level of intimacy between Roger and Vera. This adventurous thrilling suspense will keep you on your toes till the end. Fast paced enjoyable read, highly recommend it.
  • Conflict Resolution for Mercenaries on May 12, 2016

If you ever wondered what would it be like to live in the middle ages, this book is for you. At the beginning of the second book in the Mercenaries series we find the time-travelers trying to cope with living far back in the past, and to recruit more men for the big battle ahead of them. There is always this haunting question of how will they succeed and fulfill their goals with their very limited resources such as men and weapons. You will find the usual dose of humor that you can always count on finding it in a Dai Alanye book, and there is a hint of romance too. The amazing detailed description of the battle was very lively and well written, and the use of the Old English in the dialog was admirable.
  • Mail Order Bride Margaret (Montana Destiny Brides, Book 1) on May 16, 2016

I liked it, especially the fact that it's clean mail order bride story.
  • Chinese Fortune Cookies The Ruse on May 21, 2016

Sweet romantic short story, i like it.
  • The Story of Him and Her on June 02, 2016

This is how a typical love story goes from "one's" perspective, it was a nice read.
  • The Slow Lane: A Short Story From Meet Cute on June 02, 2016

I liked the ending of this short story.
  • Community Organizing for Mercenaries on Aug. 05, 2016

unorthodox attempt to make the world a better place and unpredictable adventure. I liked how the author presented the idea of time travel and life in the middle ages. I liked having numerous characters with their unique stories and POVs, I was especially interested in the mercenaries POVs and in knowing what's their take on leaving their lives behind and plunging into a huge battle. There was the suspense of waiting for the mercenaries to come back from the battlefield and the fear for the life of your favorite character. then there was the challenge of surviving in a community has little to offer. The ending was somewhat a tearjerker, but very satisfying. Very well written saga and highly recommended read.
  • Duel with Destiny on Sep. 26, 2018

I enjoyed it but there are some things that made me give it a three instead of a five stars review. The writing style is good, the plot is not typical and the romance is clean. But I wished there was more concentration on the two main characters from the first book instead of inserting the story of another couple, it was both distracting and overwhelming.
