L.Q. Snyder has a way with words. From the moment I started reading this book, until the final sentence, I was unable to put it down. Witty humor, steamy romance that doesn't feel R-rated, and emotional circumstances are just a few of the things I loved about L.Q.'s writing. A mythical universe full of fantastic characters with supernatural abilities was gripping, but the romantic entanglements of the characters kept me coming back for more. I really loved the balance between a fantasy world, sci-fi technology, super-human abilities, and a romantic triangle with a twist. The characters of this book are so well written that you will feel as though they are real people. There are those you will love, those you will hate, and even a couple you will love to hate. Once you start reading, you will be hooked. Wish i could give this book a ten star review because it deserves it. Can't wait for the next book in the series to be released!
