Chimera (Ki-mir'a, ki-); a creation of the imagination, a wild fantasy...
We publish erotic ebooks; fictional stories of delicious damsels in distress being pursued and seduced by mendacious masters and mistresses. Bondage, spanking, domination and submission, slavemasters, vampires, pony girls and college girls; all of these themes and characters - and many more - you'll find here in our collection of erotic ebooks.
We've been publishing erotica since early 1995! Almost a quarter of a century. Where did the time go? For the first ten or so years we published erotic paperbacks, supplying major (and some not so major) bookstores around the world, like W.H.Smith and Waterstones in the UK, Barnes & Noble and Borders in the US, and many many others from Canada to Thailand to Australia.
Unfortunately, however, around 2008 most distributors and bookstores started fazing out erotic paperbacks, so we had to adapt and start offering erotic ebooks instead, selling through numerous online stores like (to name just a very few) Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Smashwords - and of course our own website.
Our adult stories come from the fertile imaginations of well-known authors who specialise in the genre, including C. P. Mandara, Maggie Carpenter, Ray Gordon and John Argus (amongst many others), each of whom are accomplished writers of erotic fiction.
Over the years we've also welcomed and published many newbie writers, although frustratingly their submissions are very often great ideas badly written, or bad ideas beautifully written. Happily though, numerous little gems have been unearthed, enabling us to offer over three hundred titles of eclectic erotica.
Since the emergence of ebooks we've acquired lots of erotic fiction previously published as paperbacks by other imprints, like Nexus, Black Lace, Silver Moon and Blue Moon (not related to each other), and you'll find them all on here at Smashwords.
And for the future? Well, we have ideas for audiobooks, graphic novels and even 3D erotic movies, so if you'd like to keep in touch with how our plans are developing why not 'favourite' and/or 'follow' us?
