Biography

Christina Hoag won a prize for writing interesting stories when she was six years old and that’s what she’s been doing ever since as a newspaper journalist and novelist. She is the co-author of “Peace in the Hood: Working with Gang Members to End the Violence,” a groundbreaking book on gang intervention (Turner Publishing, 2014). “Girl On The Brink” is her first novel for young adults. Her debut adult novel, “Skin of Tattoos,” a literary gang thriller, is forthcoming from Martin Brown Publishing in 2016. A native of New Zealand, she has lived and travelled around the world. She currently resides in Los Angeles.
