  • Roses, Wine & Murder - In the City of Steeples on Aug. 24, 2020

Very well written. I enjoyed the well developed characters and was thoroughly entertained by unexpected events as the story unfolded. I like cozy mysteries and I like police procedurals. This book has elements of both styles with a little extra. Recommended.
  • Blues Bar Valentine on Sep. 20, 2020

Wow. Wonderful mood piece. Better than poetry.
  • Brownie Oxford and the Ashland Affair on Sep. 20, 2020

Recommended as an enjoyable read. A nicely written balance of the paranormal and a conspiracy/thriller. One of my favorite ghost stories. The heroine was so appealing I don't know if I wanted to know her, or to be her. I am enjoying other titles by this author, also.

Well written, action packed, appealing characters, engaging fantasy elements. Enjoyed being in that world. Recommended.
  • Forget to Remember on Dec. 24, 2020

The first Carol Golden book I've read and I can't wait to read more of them. This was exciting and suspenseful, with engaging technical details and some really nice people. Thanks Mr. Cook for a lovely holiday gift.
  • Othernaturals Book One: Possessed on Dec. 27, 2020

This is subject matter that I enjoy and Christina's style is a pleasure to read. I'm working my way through the Othernaturals series because I can't put them down. I love the complexity of the characters, their flaws and their abilities, and their relationships. Thank you for the holiday gift.
  • If Memory Serves (Dr. Tara Ross Series) (Volume1) on Dec. 30, 2020

I enjoyed this book - the multi-layered plot and the engaging characters. Long, detailed, rewarding, with a satisfying ending.
  • The Old Ranger: A Texas Ranger Short Story on Jan. 10, 2021

  • Ghostwalker (The Chronicles of Zanthora: Book One) on Jan. 18, 2021

  • Factory 4-80 on Feb. 08, 2021

I grew up reading science fiction and particularly enjoyed the "space opera" genre. This is a novel that I've added to my favorite's list. Great style, action, humor, and characters to care about. Thank you.
  • Senior Citizen on April 09, 2021

Maybe it's because I've always appreciated a well constructed story. Maybe it's because I worked as a nurse nearly 40 years. Maybe it's because I'm over 70 now....I thought this was perfect. I read it quickly and then read it again, more slowly, appreciating everything about it. A welcome addition to my library. Thank you.
  • Dead & Buried on May 07, 2021

I happily recommend this to readers who enjoy detective fiction and/ or enjoy an engaging ghost story. The mystery attracted me and the process of investigation was satisfying, but the well developed, appealing main characters were what kept me reading all afternoon. I also appreciate the professionalism of the writing style and editing.
  • The Great Mother on July 08, 2021

I enjoyed this book very much. I found the writing very personal and I identified with the main character strongly as the story unfolded. The environment and situations were relatable and the other characters were well written. It seems unusual for a post-apocalyptic scenario to accentuate the positive rather than the negative. Recommended.
  • Fire Song on July 08, 2021

Enjoyable. Engaging world of magical creatures. Well written characters and a well crafted mystery. Recommended.
  • Junkyard Dog on July 08, 2021

Great. Classic science fiction adventure with some nice touches and engaging characters. First book in a series I'm looking forward to reading.
  • Stalked in Paradise on July 08, 2021

A vividly described environment, appealing characters and an engaging mystery held me captive until I got to the last page of this book. Enjoyable and well written.
  • Godhunter on July 30, 2021

I really enjoy Ms Sumida's ability to create environments that are vivid and detailed and characters who are unique and unexpected. This book is an original, entertaining blend of mythology, fantasy, paranormal and, dare I say it, romance. Thanks for the good read.
  • Beyond the Providers on Aug. 03, 2021

It's been a long time since I've read a contemporary science fiction novel that I enjoyed as much as I enjoyed this one. The world building was complex in the tradition of the best hard science fiction I grew up with, the adventure flowed easily from one exciting episode to the next, and the characters had depth and were very appealing. Thanks so much.
  • Distant Neighbors on Aug. 03, 2021

    Hysterical. Great storytelling.
  • Blood Justice on Dec. 20, 2022

Blood Justice is full of action and suspense, with characters to care about. I have also enjoyed the three accidental vampire books as well as a couple more titles, and wanted to share my recommendation of David Burton's books. I look forward to reading more of them.
