Crescendo! is a fast paced gothic thriller with lots of humour, some truly terrific characters and a bunch of other worldly creatures thrown in to boot. With the world teetering on the brink of the apocalypse, a band of unlikely heroes make a stand to save mankind. Cue the entrance of Austerley and Kirkgordon, two names I'm sure we will see a lot more of over the years. This mismatched pair grab your attention and imagination from the start and by the end of this adventure you are left eagerly awaiting more. Jordon has a real talent for story telling. His characters ooze personality and his settings are vivid and unnervingly realistic. Can't wait to read "The Darkness at Dillingham", Austerley and Kirkgordon's next outing.
