I really liked this book. It made 314 pages go by really quickly! It was a quick read. The suspense was really good, it kept you on the edge of your seat. Of course there weren't suspenseful, but most of it was. You could see lots of rising action, climaxes, falling action, and resolutions. Another thing I liked about it was that there were lots of climaxes in it. I really liked the dramatic Irony in it, where you now something bad is going to happen, but the character doesn't know it. The point of view was nice, because you got to see lots of sides of the same story, and a bunch of different things going on at the same time. There would be a few paragraphs to a page or two about one scene, and then you could go somewhere else to see what some of the other characters were doing. The setting and characters were described really good. You could picture the characters in your head almost like it was a movie. As I read about some of the locations where things took place, I thought of places in the real world that I think would look like that place. For example, Sea Haven reminded me of Italy. It would make a great movie. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes fiction, adventure, or even people who like nonfiction more. I don't usually like fiction, especially fantasy, but I liked this book. If you're reading this review, you should stop reading it and start reading this book. It'll keep you on the edge of your seat.

I liked it. I couldn't put it down! It was definitely worth getting. It made me laugh a lot. The dialogue was witty, and you come to love some of the characters ... and hate some of them, all for the right reasons. It's very exciting and the author describes everything well, (not to much; enough to leave room for some imagination). The story tells the story of a girl who goes from rags to riches, and how the people around her react. There are dramatic parts, funny stuff, and good dialogue. There are great characters, and you get to know them really well. There wasn't a whole lot that I didn't like about it. One thing I didn't like was that it is currently, (as of September 28th, 2011) it's only in eBook form. But, I've heard that it'll soon be in dead tree format. That'll be nice. I'd recommend it to anybody who likes a good book. I loved, and I hate fantasy. It's a good book, and I'm excited for the squeal to come out.
