Zeala Cortes

Mrs. Z came from a family of educators and grew up on the poorer side of Manila, in the Philippines, in a neighborhood infamous for being tough and requiring a certain level of street smarts to navigate around.
In 1990, she was the Philippine delegate to the International Conference on Science and the Environment held in Singapore and England for her invention and white paper of a 3 phase precipitator - an anti-pollution device. She was also a recipient of Shell's Outstanding Junior Scientist award at that time. An honor student through and through, and a recipient of various scholarship grants, she was able to complete her Bachelor of Science degree in Economics at the University of the Philippines in Los Baños, Laguna with honors.
As with any university graduate, Mrs. Z. had dreams of corporate success and wanting to have her own car. She embarked on a career in sales where she experienced great success, beginning in the pharmaceutical industry. She was a pharmaceutical representative for 10 years with the largest multinational company in the Philippines at the time. After moving to Canada, she became a weight loss counselor where she was able to assist hundreds of clients in their weight loss journey before moving to the print advertising field as an ad executive. In 2007, she collaborated with a fellow immigrant to Canada, a celebrity TV chef and household name in the Philippines. “Cooking Thin with Sandy and Zeala” was born and was aired on the Shaw Multicultural Channel in Vancouver, Canada.
Mrs. Z’s corporate career was put on hold a few years later when she experienced health issues, and her mother did as well. She cared for her mother, who was bedridden for almost a year, by feeding her healthy meals. Her mother`s death in 2011 placed her in deep sorrow and self-initiated isolation. That was the time Mrs. Z turned to alternative, traditional eastern medicine, as well as healthy, natural cooking to get better.
For 3 years, she had listened to the recorded channelings of Abraham-Hicks, Bashar, Kryon, Wendy Kennedy and Nora Harold for answers and solutions and towards the end of 2012, her health issues ended and she began enjoying and spending most of her time with her family and at various multicultural outreach projects. She was able to regain her former size 2 physic without any strenuous regimented exercise routines. She now heads her own company, CNM Communications, which specializes in web technology and ethnic advertising.
