Carl Nielsen


Carl Nielsen is a Photographer and Writer living in Utah. He has traveled extensively. He was raised in a military family and had lived in several states and two foreign countries by the time he graduated from high school. He served as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, in the Copenhagen, Denmark Mission. He is a graduate of the University of Utah, majoring in Journalism and Mass Communication, with emphasis in Photography and Cinematography. He also studied Architecture at the University of Utah. He served for 32 years in the Air force, Air National Guard, and Air Force Reserve. He owned and operated a photography business in Utah for many years.

Nine Mile Canyon is located in Eastern Utah. This is a book of photographs made during my visit there in May 2005.
