Burn This Way

What can I say other than I couldn't put this book down! Every page flows with a style of language uncommon to the genre: poetry. You fall instantly in love with the characters, (Well, one in specific for me) and you can't wait to find out what happens next. Just when I thought I knew what was going on, I was wrong, and happy to be so. The action is fast paced, and the suspense is driving. I highly suggest any vampire enthusiasts or even just fans of the craft of writing pick this novel up.
Best Served Cold

Two brothers and their friend are out for the night, having a good time, drinking beer and talking. They come across a girl in the middle of nowhere and she needs a ride. The brothers get it in their heads that this might be a fun time to mess with the girl. Little do they know, the police officer is about to show up and he has more for them than just a ticket. The moon is full, and men are not to be trusted. The action keeps you wrapped up all the way through. Right when the first twist happened, I thought I had it figured out, but I was wrong. Then, I was right, Then, I was wrong again. This short story kept me guessing until the end, and even then I was left wondering about more of the story. The way the author ended it, it might be something they are planning on expanding on. I would encourage that. Overall, I give this short story five stars. It made me laugh and gave me goosebumps, and I can't wait to see if the author pursues a novel from this story basis.
