Biography

Sara lives in Derby England. In between a day job and family life she escapes into writing about vampires, werewolves and any other supernatural creature that takes her fancy in the moment.

What is your writing process?
I'm not an organised pre planner! The story comes out of me in chunks. I tend to let my fingers empty out what's running through my head and then go back over what I have written to refine again and again. About half way through I tend to sketch out where I'm heading. I also jot down notes about my characters as I go to keep track of them and their potential influences. Occasionally I'll write out an entire backstory for key characters to help grow them.
What do you read for pleasure?
I read all sorts of books. I like a story that keeps me guessing with unexpected characters who grab you and pull you along with them on their journey. It could be romance, paranormal, historical or sci-if.
