Biography

I am a retired electronics technologist living in St. John's Newfoundland and now employed as a taxi broker. I live in St. John's with my wonderful wife, Rose, and my two children Samantha and Joey. My passengers have been asking me for years to write a book about the taxi industry in St. John's. I finally took their advice.

Smashwords Interview

What motivated you to become an indie author?
That's a really good question. I've been told many times in my life that I can't do something because I'm color blind and i have always proved those people wrong time and time again. A few years ago a local author suggested to me-in not so many words-that i was incapable of writing well. That's the only motivation I needed to publish my first book!!
Describe your desk
Interesting! I write standing at my five foot long bar in my recreation room. Keyboard to the left of a 32 inch flat screen monitor. Both of which are perpendicular to each other. Not the best ergonomically, but I find it quite comfortable.

The book is already in print format, and is available in all book stores in Newfoundland and Labrador. I have sold almost 300 hard copies in my taxi in less than seven weeks. The response has been overwhelming.
