Cory Anne Stickel started writing in 1995, using fan-fiction to experiment with character and plot development throughout her time in high school. Since 2000, her work has been featured on the Michael Crawford Phantom Movie Campaign website, as well as on FanFiction.net and FictionPress.com. In 2006, she co-wrote a Sci-Fi/Romance, The Valley of Von-Dar, with author Jeffrey Redmond, which is available through on-line retailers. Cory Anne currently lives in West Michigan with her daughter and works as a volunteer for hospice.
When did you first start writing?
I remember first taking a real interest in writing while in middle school; so it was in the early '90s. It wasn't until I started high school in 1995, though, that I finally began to get serious about putting my ideas down on paper.
Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
I'm pretty sure it was some god-awful fan fiction for Andrew Lloyd Webber's 'The Phantom of the Opera.'
