P. H. Campbell

During a dark epoch in my life, I had a lot of time to sit and write. It didn't cost much money, which was fortunate as I had none to spare and was living on Ramen and peanut butter. Writing was something I could to a lot of and, as it turned out, I had some small talent at it.

Driven by a rage at life, that has since subsided, my fevered imagination went in a lot of directions to slake my need to be productive and deal with the otherwise less than pleasant aspects of a life gone horribly wrong.

I used to joke that my guardian angel was a magna cum laude graduate of the Marquis De Sade School of Nurturing.

Over the course of ten years, I wrote sixteen books of varying quality. One of these books was completed in 13 days. Most took several months. The amount of writing I could produce was in direct proportion to the amount of anger I was feeling at the time.

But time, age and a change of circumstances all have conspired to put me in a better place today. Being a lot less angry, and having lost my wrathful muse, I don't do as much writing as I used to, but have a project or ten still in the computer waiting to be finished that I plan on finishing one of these years.

I've done a lot of things in my over half a century of life. I've saved lives, served my country, run my own business and still indulge in writing from time to time - when I'm not making bows (the kind you use with arrows, which I also make), making artificial Bonsai trees, programming for fun and profit, and indulging in a life-long passion for model building.

Oh, and running my business as well.

If you choose to honor me by buying one of my books, please let me know what you thought.
