Smashwords Interview

When did you first start writing?
I was a kid and it's embarrassing stuff I've worked intensely hard to erase from existence. Seriously, I must have been between 11 and 13, it's so bad.
Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
Probably 3/4 of my life has been spent in New York City. I was born here and it is, as cheeseball as it sounds, a big part of me. I don't think it influences my writing that much, but it probably depends on my mood honestly and what I'm working on.
