"The world never leaves you alone, not when you want it to..." I was swept away by this story. Yvonne and Phoebe seem as real as my friends and coworkers. The author made me care about them, laughing and crying with them throughout their story. This is one of the best, most realistic portrayals of an actual lesbian relationship, standing far above the sad caricature found in many novels. The sex is explicit and intense, but is far from gratuitous. The author makes you feel their passion and it intensifies the story being told. This book is worth far more than the time it takes to read it. Highly recommended!
