"Collision" by Al Nussbaum is a short story with incredible impact. In a very short space, it sketches the life of a wanted man, his isolation, the cleverness of the ploys he uses to survive, and his hard sense of justice. The narrator is an excellent detective because he is a criminal, and he avenges a young woman he never knew because it's the right thing to do. You won't forget this one.
