My two cents: I appreciated the author asking people to donate the worth of the books to animal shelters or other charities. Nice to have it about writing and not purely for profit. When I saw the recommendation for this author, I thought I would give it a try, but remained skeptical due to it being free, as some other freebies haven't always been very enoyable reads. I am very pleased that this is not the case with this story.
Thank you thank you thank you for editting! Not only was the plot well thought out, the character development eased along in a more realistic manner than a lot of 'were' or 'mate' stories. Granted Elise did get a bit on my nerves with her gulibility, but taking into account that she was not quite 19 and had a really secluded life around people that wouldn't think to lie to her or harm her, it really isn't any wonder that she couldn't see the machinations of those around her.
So overall, a very enjoyable read and I would recommend it. At this point I have finished all four books and feel that they are all very well done.
Thank you Nicky!
