  • His For The Night on June 21, 2013

“His For The Night” is definitely a hot read. Holly was recently dumped by her boyfriend and is dealing with a boss who seems to be a complete ass. She decides to spend the weekend in Vegas with a friend who does everything but spend time with her yet, she’s determined to make the best out of a crappy situation and enjoy herself no matter the cost. She meets a stranger who seems to make her day and mood worse, but they both wonder what it would be like to bed the other. Will their fantasies come true? This book has a twist no one will see coming. It is a short read but it is definitely worth reading and will leave you wanting more.
  • Haunted Moon (A Moon Coven Series Novella) on June 26, 2013
    (no rating)
Haunted Moon is an amazing start to "A Moon Coven Series". This book allows us to read and experience Aileen's journey to accepting and becoming a Moon Witch. At first Aileen is tested when she witness the death of a Vampire for the first time by the hands of someone she loves. She begins to question whether she wants to become the witch she was ment to be and whether or not she can trust the ones she love. As time goes on she realizes she must accept who she is to become in order to proctet the one's she loves and the people of their community. This book is a great start to the series, and I look forward to reading "Compulsion" the next book in the series. I reccomend everyone giving this series a try, it is definately worth reading.
  • Betrayals of Spring (Forever Fae, #2) on June 26, 2013

"Betrayals of Spring" was a great read. This book is definitely full of surprises and there will be moments where you will say "what in the world" just happened. The sorcerer is still determined to gain powers and he's determined to gain them from Meliantha. The sorcerer plays games in even more sick and twisted ways. He seems to have more alliances now than ever and those allies are close to Meliantha and Kalen; maybe a little too close. He's determined to stop the bond between Meliantha and Kalen no matter what, even if he has to kill Kalen himself to get to Meliantha. At times I found the story a little slow but it does pick up and is worth reading. I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves to read a romance book filled with supernatural beings.
  • Barbie Girl on Sep. 03, 2013

"Barbie Girl" was an absolutely enjoyable read for me. I loved it so much I finished it in one sitting; it will definitely make you laugh. All Barbie wants is to finish high school so she can take her autistic brother Everett and leave. Barbie's mom is a drunk who spends whatever money she gets on her next high leaving Barbie to fend for herself and her brother. Her teacher tells her that if she doesn't improve her grades in Math she will have to retake the class next year and he recommends she ask Dylan to tutor her. Barbie and Dylan come up with a plan on how she will pay him since she cannot afford to pay him cash. Their plan takes an interesting turn when they both realize that what they want was in front of them the whole time. One tragic night threatens to rip everything away from Barbie, especially the person she loves the most. I am looking forward to reading the next book in the series; if it's anything like this book it will be amazing.
  • Xander's Chance (#1, Damian Eternal) on Oct. 03, 2013

Xander's Chance was definitely an amazing read. You will fall in love with the characters in the book especially Xander and Jessi. Xander had a hard childhood, he and his mother was cast out because of what he is. When tragedy strikes Xander is given the choice to live his life as he see fit or take revenge. What happens when someone he trusts tricks him? Jessi is struggling to take care of her cousins Brandon & Ashley. When Ashley ends up in the hospital, Jessi runs into Jonny. Jonny is determined to use Jessi to get what he wants even if he has to threaten her and her famiy. Ashley has to get close to Xander but is Xander what he really seems and is Ashley in over her head. Who can she trust when everyone seems to be testing her? I love the chemistry between Xander and Jessi and their banter will definitely make you laugh. I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves to read a good paranormal with romance, humor, action, suspense and mystery. However I do recommend this book to 18+. I am really looking forward to reading the next book and future books in the series.
  • Undeniable on Oct. 27, 2013

There's nothing I can say amazing about Undeniable and there's nothing I can say badly about the book. The book was ok for me. It was different from my regular reads and there was a lot of cursing but it is worth a read.
  • Mobster's Girl on Oct. 27, 2013

"Mobster's Girl" was definately a great read. It will keep you hooked to the end. The book starts off great and gets better and more exctiting as you read. Antonio has always wanted Megan, but what happens when you watch everything you want slip away. Antonio lifestyle puts Megan in danger, but what happens when the danger comes from someone closer to home. Will Antonio be able to save Megan when the truth comes out? The chemistry between the characters are great, nothing seems rushed and you watch the characters develop. This book also allows you to see everything from Megan's and Antonio POV. "Mobster's Girl is full of twist, lies and betrayal. It was such an easy read and the flow was great, I read it in one sitting. This book does end with a cliffhanger and you will want to find out how everything turns out. This book is definately worth reading and I look forward to reading the next book in the series
  • Silk on Feb. 17, 2014

"Silk" is an amazing erotic. I was a little disappointed that it ended so soon and I look forward to reading more by C.I Macias. Aiden and Jackson are brothers, Aiden has already seduced Sammie and Jackson has seduced Sammie's friend Jade. When Jackson sees Aiden and Sammie sexual encounter he is determined to have Sammie how Bondage is truly done. Sammie likes Aiden, but can she deny Jackson what he want's. "Silk" was short, hot and sexy and definately worth reading.
  • Jade on Feb. 18, 2014

Jade begins right where Silk ended and let me just say I was laughing as soon as I started reading. Sammie believes Jackson drugged her and Jade is the one to find her but once Jade hears what Jackson has done to Sammie not only does she feel betrayed, she is jealous. Jade decides she wants to do something daring to help her cure the need to have Jackson pleasuring her and her search leads her to a yacht and a woman named Mara. Mara introduces Jade to a lifestyle that not only delivers pleasure but is also pleasing. Let’s just say that is the start of Jades sexual escapades. This book has no shortage of orgasms from both Jade and Sammie so I highly recommend this book to readers who are looking for a short, steamy read. The ending leaves you wanting to know more and I look forward to reading the next book in the series.
  • The Door (Part One) on April 22, 2020

3 1/2 stars!!! I loved the characters in this story. Besides their chemistry, there's just something about Gianna and Teyan that leaves me wanting the rest of their story. I even enjoyed the side characters. Gianna has two options and she chooses to live with the Caretaker. She hates it but it's the better option and she slowly learns what being a Caretaker involves. However, there's one important rule and Gianna learns why that rule should never be broken. This was a good story but I found it a little slow. This story ends with a cliffhanger and I'm excited to read what happens next.
  • The Door (Part Two) on April 22, 2020

I enjoyed this book a lot. It picks up right where the first one leaves off with consequences of Gianna's actions for doing the one thing that was forbidden. The journey that this author took me on was one that non-stop action and had me hooked from beginning to end. I was not ready for the story to end. I wish there was another book with more of Gianna and Teyan in his world because I need more of them. I'll take a novella, just something to give me more of them because I love their characters. There were times I wanted to shake Gianna but she was young and still learning. I enjoyed this series and I think paranormal lovers will enjoy this story. I look forward to more books from this author.
  • Gabriel's Hope (#1, Rhyn Eternal) on April 22, 2020

Gabriel’s new position seems to be against him as much as he is against his new position. Nothing is going as it should and while dealing with everything the last thing he expected was to find and claim a mate that looks exactly like his ex. The past has a way of popping back up and now past-Death and Deidre are both determined to be with Gabriel. I enjoyed this book as much as I did the Rhyn Trilogy. I love Gabe just as much in this book as I did in the others. I look forward to reading the next book in the series to see who gets to keep their soul.
  • Deidre's Death (#2, Rhyn Eternal) on April 22, 2020

“Deidre’s Death” gives us the story of what went on between Gabriel and past-Death while the deal was made between past-Death and Deidre. Gabriel knows something is different when his mate comes back from hell but he can’t quite figure it out. This book takes you on another journey in this fantastic series. This book is a great read and I love the series more and more and I look forward to reading the next book in the series.
  • Darkyn's Mate (#3, Rhyn Eternal) on April 22, 2020

“Darkyn’s Mate” is basically what went on between the Darkyn and his mate from the time the deal was made between Deidre and past-Death. Everyone seems to be making deals but it’s the unspoken rules that seem to cause the most damage. I enjoyed this story as much as the previous books in this series and can't wait to read the next book. This author does not disappoint!!!
  • The Underworld (#4, Rhyn Eternal) on April 22, 2020

The Rhyn Eternal series is one of the best paranormal series I have read. There’s no way to read this series and not fall in love with author Lizzy Ford for creating an amazing story and her characters because well hell, they are just freaking fantastic. Lizzy has a way of even making Death look good. I loved this book; especially the back and forth between Fate, Gabriel and Darkyn. This book will have you on the edge of your seat and laughing at the same time. I cannot wait to read the next book in this series. I highly recommend this book along with any Lizzy Ford book if you are looking for a great paranormal read.
  • Twisted Fate (5, Rhyn Eternal) on April 22, 2020

4.5 Stars!!! Twisted Fate was a good read and I enjoyed it as much as the previous books in the series. This book was definitely full of surprises, it make me laugh quite a few times and I was on the edge of my seat the whole time while reading it wondering what was going to happen next. I absolutely love Fate, Stephanie, Karma, Rhyn, Kiki, Kris and Tamer. The only thing that I disliked about this book was that I was on 85% on my kindle and it was the end of the story. I wasn’t expecting it and I really wanted more but as disappointed that I was that it ended so abruptly, it won’t stop me from buying the next book in this series because when it comes down to it; I absolutely love this series and will continue to read it until the very end.
  • Twisted Karma on April 22, 2020

FREAKING FANTASTIC!!! Its the only way to describe this book. Lizzy Ford has done it again. She has given us a story that captivated me from the very beginning until the very end, yet it leaves me wanting more and more. I enjoyed all of the characters within the story, even the demons; Trayern being a favorite. This book gives us Stephanie, Wynn and Karma's story along with the rest of the characters but they are the main characters in this book. Lizzy knows how to write an amazing story that gives you suspense, drama, love, war, anticipation with touches of seduction without seducing, and I loved every moment of it; as much as I loved every moment with Karma and Wynn. I can't wait to get more of these characters and be taken on another adventure because Sammy and Trayern's story will definitely be entertaining and I'll be patiently waiting. When it comes to paranormal reads Lizzy Ford is my top author, and its books like these and her writing style that gives her that rating in my eyes. She is absolutely fantastic at what she does.
  • Zoey Rogue on April 24, 2020

“Zoey Rogue” is one of the most amazing books I have read so this year. I could not put this book down and read it in one sitting. You will love all of the characters in the book in one way or another. The storyline was great, fast paced and there was never a dull moment. The book was filled with moments that will make you laugh out loud and smile for days. I can’t even begin to explain how amazing this book was. I highly recommend this book to anyone 18 and over due to adult situations. I cannot wait to read the next book in the series “Zoey Avenger,” this book will definitely leave you wanting more. This is a must read book and it is one you will read over and over again.
  • Zoey Avenger on April 24, 2020

Zoey Avenger picks up 2 months after Zoey Rogue. I enjoyed this book as much as I did Zoey Rogue and I love the girls more than ever. Their back and forth banter will make you laugh and their love for each other shows more than ever. I also enjoyed Aiden and Grant a lot, they will give you a few laughs. There was definitely a happy surprise in this book and I would love to have more of Zoey and Declan, Ginny and Tommy or even Vikki and Liam in the future. If you haven’t read this series I highly suggest you pick it up and if you read Zoey Rogue this is a must read. You won’t’ be disappointed.
  • Dark Summer (#1, Witchling Series) on April 24, 2020

“Dark Summer” is amazing! I read the book in one day. It will captivate you from beginning to the end; you will truly find this book hard to put down. There are characters that you will want to yell at one moment and hug and kiss the next. This book has it all: drama, suspense, betrayal, heartbreak and romance. I look forward to reading the next book in the series. I recommend this book to anyone looking for a quick read that full of surprises and will leave you wanting more.
  • Autumn Storm (#2, Witchling Series) on April 24, 2020

“Autumn Storm” is an absolutely amazing follow up to “Dark Summer.” This is one book that will hold you captive from beginning to the end. I read the book in one day because it was so hard to stop reading once I started. It is full of twist, turns and surprises that you won’t see coming. The chemistry and relationship between the characters were amazing and believable. This is one book you can read and watch it play out as a fantastic action packed movie. I highly recommend everyone giving this series a try, it is absolutely amazing. I look forward to reading the next book in the series and other books written by Author Lizzy Ford. This series has truly become one of my favorites.
  • Winter Fire (#3, Witchling Series) on April 24, 2020

“Winter Fire” was just as amazing as the first two books in the series. It begins a few weeks after the ending of “Autumn Storm” and everything fits together perfectly. I highly recommend this series to anyone who loves a great paranormal romance. There will be moments where you love the characters one minute and want to shake them the next. There is never a dull moment in this book; it is full of suspense, surprises and events you won’t see coming. This series has become one of my favorites. I am really looking forward to the next book in the series. This series just gets better and better.
  • Spring Rain (#4, Witchling Series) on April 24, 2020

The wait is finally over!!! I’ve enjoyed this series from the very beginning and this book was no different. The challenges the characters face, the battles they have to fight and the ending was perfect. I’m still left me wanting more; not because of unanswered questions but because when you love the characters you really never get enough of their story. There is no cliffhanger, but it also ends in a way where another book is possible in the future. If you haven’t read this series and you enjoy paranormal reads I would highly recommend it.
  • Damian's Oracle on April 24, 2020

I love reading paranormal books and I enjoyed this book a lot. Damian is a white god, he and his protectors protect innocents from Czerno who is the black god. Sofia is a oracle in transition and has no idea, someone as powerful as her does not exist often. This book gives your their journey. I figured out early on who the man on Sofia's "mind" was but this book was still a great read and I look forward to reading the next book in the series.
  • Damian's Assassin on April 24, 2020

Damian's Assassin was a good read. I liked this book but I thought the first book was so much better. This one was a little slow at times but I enjoyed seeing how Bianca and Dusty's relationship developed and what she could do. I'm sure with Bianca's brother now becoming the new Black God things will still be interesting and we definitely have to get Jule's story. I will be reading the next book because I actually enjoy all of the characters in this series.
  • Damian's Immortal (War of Gods, Book 3) on April 24, 2020

Another great read. I enjoyed Yully and Jule's story but the first book in the series is still my favorite. I love how this series isn't filled with sex; instead its filled with a lot of action and full of different characters. Characters you will either hate or love and even though the Black God is supposed to be evil, I'm really enjoying Johnny. However, I am ready for the next book in the series. I'm ready to see Darian become the man he is supposed to be with Jenn at his side. I'm excited to see how things play out with them.
  • The Grey God (Book IV, War of Gods) on April 24, 2020

The Grey God was another great read. This book had a lot of action which I enjoyed. The whole series thus far has been great and I recommend it to anyone looking for a good read. The series doesn't include a lot of sex; there's reference to it and you know the couples have it, but its never in detail so I enjoyed that a lot as most books that I read tend to include a lot of sex which can be a bit much sometimes.
  • Maverick on July 03, 2020

This story was okay. The main characters were okay but there was nothing about Kenzy and Maverick's story that I fell in love with. It was a little hard to believe in their love. I just didn't feel it between them. There was a little bit of drama, some chemistry between the characters, some meanness from Maverick's dad and then love. I wanted to love to love this story but I didn't. It was just missing something for me. I have Lance, Heath, Wendol and Reese's story but I'm unsure if I want to read them because I didn't love this one. This author books just might not be for me.
  • West on Dec. 21, 2020
    (no rating)
I usually stay away from historical romances but I've never read or listened to a book from this author that's disappointed me. I enjoyed the characters in this story a lot and the story had more suspense than I expected, but it definitely kept things interesting. There were a lot of shocking moments in this story especially when it came to John, his real daughter Josie, Nell, Running Bear and Fighting Badger. However, I loved Josie and Taylor. I wished they had more time to spend together but there were some sweet and steamy moments between the two of them. This story ends with a cliffhanger and I will probably listen to the next story just to know what other journey in history Carter needs Josie to change. There's definitely a lot of secrets that Carter is still keeping and I want to know what other secrets are revealed when it comes to him.

  • East (#2, History Interrupted) on Dec. 21, 2020

There are things I like and dislike about the story. I love the characters although there are times when Josie works on my nerves. I do love the playfulness between her and Batu. Batu is funny, sweet and protective. However, I'm ready for Carter to reveal what his real motives are with Josie. I'm tired of him throwing her from one place to another. As soon as she finds love and I'm happy with how things are going she has to leave and go somewhere else and the journey begins again. I'm ready for this series to end. It's a good story and the narrator has done a fantastic job but I'm ready for Josie to either find her HEA. I really want her to go home and find one of the time travels in her present time that she shared a past with.
  • North on Dec. 21, 2020

I wanted to hate Carter so much, but with a cliffhanger ending like this one I can't. I'm not sure how to feel about him anymore. Not only did the ending of this one take me by surprise but it left me speechless. I can't wait for the next book only to see how everything comes full circle because there has to be another book. Just when I thought Josie would get her HEA with Batu, we were thrown another curveball. I'm looking forward to the next book.
  • Micah (Damage Control 1) on Dec. 21, 2020

I liked Micah and Evangeline characters in this story and there were some funny, sweet and steamy scenes between the two but I needed a little bit more. I didn't feel that deep connection between the main characters that would have made me really enjoy this story. Micah did not have an easy childhood and he has scars that runs deep but Evangeline saved his life. She's the woman he can't forget and wants to know. Evangeline has her own drama to deal with because her ex-boyfriend Blake refuses to believe that their relationship is over and is willing to deal with anyone he feels is a threat. It took me a while to like Evangeline's parent and brother, I couldn't believe the way they treated her and I was glad when she made the decision to do what was best for her. The ending of this story was sweet but in all honesty it didn't leave me dying to read the next book.
  • Because of Him on Dec. 21, 2020

I absolutely loved this story!!! I loved Blair but hated everything that she had to deal with from a very young age. Her character was strong and I loved her even more so for her will to be a better person. I also hated her dad Oliver and his wife Felicia. I didn't love their kids but I couldn't completely hate them either. I have never wanted to kill off characters as bad as I wanted to off Oliver and Felicia. I hated them to the very end of the book no matter how much they've changed. I loved Yolanda (Grandma Yo) and her grandson Silvester (Silver). I also enjoyed most of the side characters. However, Yolanda and Silvester captured my heart from the very beginning for very different reasons and I knew Grandma Yo would break my heart in the end. I enjoyed the back and forth banter between Silver and Blair. Their story was one full of chemistry, angst, surprises, heartfelt, sweet and laugh out loud moments and so much more. The ending was sweet and although I enjoyed it I expected it to be so much more. This is my first book from this author but it won't be my last. I will be recommending this one to all my family and book loving friends.
  • Something Real on Dec. 21, 2020

3.5 Stars!!! This was a good read. In this book we get Jenna and Reid's story and although I liked their characters, their story was not as capturing as Blair and Silver's. Blair and Silver are still my favorite couple thus far. However, this story was funny, sweet and steamy. I liked that Blair and Jemma has gotten closer in this book but I still dislike their parents. I guess it will just take time since I hated them for how they treated Blair in the first book. The ending was sweet and I look forward to reading the next book in this standalone series.
  • Resist - Blood Courtesans on Dec. 29, 2020

This is my first book from this author and I wish I could say that I loved it but to be honest, it was okay. Okay for a one time read. I liked the beginning with Anya and Cam but I found myself losing interest in the story along the way. There was a good bit of action in the story but I wish that I felt more of a connection between Anya and Cam. I needed to feel a deeper connection between them especially, since things between them happened a bit fast. I think had I believed they shared that strong bond, I would have enjoyed this story a whole lot more. I have Abigail's story but this book didn't leave me wanting to even read it.
