Chiara Talluto is an avid reader, philanthropist, conservative, and energetic outdoors-type who dreams of owning a Harley and one day riding across the country feeling the wind whip across her face and tangling all of her brown hair. But until then, she is content on being a stay-at-home mom raising her two active young daughters and practicing wife to her wonderful and supportive husband.
Currently, she is hard at work on her third novel, as well as penning short stories that somehow cross her mind and must be put into words. When she’s not writing, you can find her reading, writing in her journal, and playing mommy to her kids. She lives with her family and exotic bird, a black-capped conure, in the western suburbs of Chicago, IL. Her motto: Live, laugh, and cry.
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
The art of creating imaginary character and circumstances and being able to put them on a page for others to enjoy. It's the euphoria of fantasy and reality, fear and happiness, and challenges and successes all rolled up into a ball of emotion that must be released.
Who are your favorite authors?
Eric Wilson, Mich Albom, Richard Paul Evans, Nicholas Sparks, David Baldacci, Adriana Trigiani, and countless others. I enjoy reading authors whose characters struggle with life decisions. That is the kind of writing that I like to do. Real human circumstances with real consequences.
The year is 2041 A.D. Yemell is a new world where kingdoms and governments rule humans. A new ocean-bound species has evolved, the Gillians. One courageous Gillian princess flees the sea, risking her life to follow her heart.
