Michael S. Sayen

I came out of Calvary Chapel Bible College. I was studied on all topics, or so I thought. When I started to enter the dating world I thought I was ready and equipped. But, when I started to date and ultimately be engaged to a divorced woman, I was not ready for the onslaught of questions from others, as well as from my own mind. I read the Bible, read many different commentaries on the subject and prayed. But the only thing I got was the Lord was telling me to break-up with her because I was not clear in understanding and faith. I told God that if He would ever tell me the truth in this matter I would tell the whole world because I just didn't see it!

Paul informs the Gentiles coming to Christ that a wife is not to divorce her husband (1 Cor. 7:10). But if she did divorce a husband, being that it was not lawful for her to do so, she cannot remarry another man (1 Cor. 7:11a). And Jesus commanded a man not to use the law as a vice to divorce his wife as the Jews did before him (1 Cor. 7:11b). This book answers questions after a divorce.
