Former Navy test pilot Dale Cox was born in Spokane, WA, graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy in June, 1943, and immediately went to war in the Pacific.
He holds two official transcontinental speed records, Los Angeles-New York and New York-Los Angeles, and was one of 32 contenders in the Mercury astronaut program.
Upon retirement, while working for the CIA, he learned of two highly classified events from years past; his two novels are both based on that information.
Dale lives with his wife Patricia in a community overlooking the Pacific Ocean south of Los Angeles.
