Biography

Dana Gore completed the curriculum at Fitness Institute International, Inc. as an outstanding graduate in 2009.

Having suffered from eating disorders in the past, Dana realized it was time for a major lifestyle overhaul. Once she discovered Fitness Institute, her life took on new meaning.

Armed with credible information about Exercise Science, Dana aims to bring guidance to the public about how to achieve optimal health in a safe and structured manner. She believes that the body follows the guidance and instruction of the mind and spirit. She inspires her readers to seek inner-peace as a means to well-being in all areas of life.

Fitness Institute International, Inc. awards students with their Certified Personal Training Specialist (CPTS) certification. The CPTS is the most legally defensible personal training certificate in the nation according to lawyers who graduated with their CPTS.

What's the story behind your latest book?
What started out to be a book about health and fitness took on a life of its own when one of the chapters (exercise safety) was going to prove to be a LONG one.
It dawned on me that it needed to be what the entire book was about since the subject matter could mean the difference between life and death for those who exercise.
My book raises awareness about how to avoid unnecessary injury and death in a lifestyle designed to inspire well-being. Anyone who exercises will find something valuable in the contents.
What do your fans mean to you?
I'm not worried about having fans or being a public figure. That doesn't mean anything to me.
I really only care about getting a message out there about assuming personal responsibility for ourselves and choosing awareness.
I care that I can share information that can have a beneficial impact on someone's internal environment - which will translate to a better external environment for themselves and everyone else.
It's a butterfly effect.
