Dan. D. Butler

If I had to tell you 3 things about myself then the first would have to be that, I absolutely LOVE being creative, not just with my writing, but in life as well.
I truly feel that creativity is a spiritual endeavor, and receiving inspiration is like being given a gift from one's soul. If you ever feel inspired to do something creative, don't reject that spiritual gift, be sure to grasp a hold of it, let it open up before you, and marvel at the wonders that you find inside. Trust me, it's a truly magical path to follow.

That brings me to the 2nd thing you should know about me. No.2 I spend a LOT of time with my head in the clouds, exploring the depths of my imagination, which works out just fine for my kids because of all the fun games that I come up with to play, but not so well for my girlfriend who would rather I spend more time with my feet on the ground, taking life a little bit more seriously.

He third and final thing you should know about me is that I'm a perfectionist. I'm the type of person who strives for greatness in everything I do, and my work is no exception to that.
I walk a spiritual path for the sole purpose of exploring the vast depths of creativity and to expand my own imagination, so that I may someday walk among the greatest creators in history and have my name, and my work, remembered for eons to come.

Smashwords Interview

What are your five favorite books, and why?
Despite my passion for writing, I have to say, I'm actually not much of a reader. It's not that I have trouble with reading, it's just that I tend to have my head immersed in my own ideas rather than entering the worlds that others create.
I guess all my favourite books come from when I was a young boy.....like.....
Dragon Quest.
Treehorns Treasure.
Any of the Goosebump books by R.L.Stein.
Anything by Roald Dahl.
Oh, and despite my previous statement, I've read a few times, and ABSOLUTELY LOVE "To kill a mockingbird" by Harper Lee.
What do you read for pleasure?
Errrmmm.... To be honest, I don't really read for pleasure anymore. The books I read these days are all about helping me in some way, whether it be a book on creative writing in its many forms, or, marketing books, or books that can help me along my spiritual path.

This is what happens when you set a creative mind loose onto the page without first giving it any real direction. You get a twisted tale of ups and downs, with lots of laughs and some very questionable naughty bits. So this is Jenny..............That poor, unfortunate girl................She REALLY didn't have it easy. See what juicy fun she gets up to in this VERY funny rhyming story for adults.
