Smashwords Interview

What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
Adventure, my dear Watson.
Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
I was raised in Southeast Texas. Living two hours outside of Houston an and hour and a half outside of the beach provided many benefits. I was able to see the glitz and glam of Houston, the relaxed lifestyle of the island, and the warmth of Southern hospitality a mere thirty minutes from Louisiana. I'm thankful for my Southern roots. My upbringing shows itself in many of my novels (i.e. Running From My Shadow, What Am I, Once In A Lifetime, for starters).

Smashwords book reviews by Danielle Nicole Bienvenu

  • D.N.A. -Nothing Would Ever be the Same on April 18, 2012
    (no rating)
"D.N.A." is an insightful novel written by Ey Wade. Debney is a complex character who stands brave in the winds of adversity. I think everyone can say they would be proud to associate with a young woman with as much courage as the main character. The plot is constantly moving and like a detective hinging on clues, the reader draws them out one by one. Light is slowly shed on the events that dramatically changed Debney's life one fateful night. Wade's story draws attention to a situation many young girl's find themselves in.
  • The Fishing Trip-Trial by Water, Execution, & Deliverance of Retribution on May 09, 2012
    (no rating)
A true page turner showing the need for justice and the prevention of crimes. While Durham and Penny's methods in seeing justice through aren't legal their motives are understandable. Wade created a strong and rivoting read full of thick plot lines and solid characters.- Author of Sarah's Secret
  • Chronicles of Time: Book 1 on Jan. 22, 2013

J.C. Allen's Chronicle's of Time Book 1 was a joy to read. The characters were real in a very clever situation. The relationship between Rick, Alex, and Jessica is a heartwarming one most can relate to. The sentences engross you in the story and I for one was left wanting more. I look forward to Book 2 in the series as Allen's gift of captivating audience with words and fantastical scenarios are sure to please. If you want an adventure, this should be your pick.
  • M.O.D. on Jan. 25, 2013

A tantalizing read. Allen does it again. Espionage, cover ups, uprisings... I enjoy reading books about what if scenarios, especially ones that could very well become real any moment and this is certainly one of them. Well done.
  • The Karaoke Duo Vs The Karaoke Zombies on Jan. 25, 2013

I LOVED it! Stark is well off the beaten path but you can't help but marvel at him because of it. The Karaoke Duo Vs.The Karaoke Zombies is a far cry from what I would normally read yet I fell in love with it. I enjoy a good comedy and Stark's book was certainly that. I found myself chuckling throughout... especially with the evil doers carrying identification cards of their status. I highly recommend this to anyone with a fancy for comedy. Just because zombies is in the title is no reason for you to advert your attention from it if you aren't zombie inclined. I will definitely be spreading the word on this one. I don't give 5 stars easily but I think Starks deserves it for his clever humor and thinking outside of the box. I would like to see this as a continual comic strip.
  • Endings on Feb. 06, 2013

I'm not someone who normally reads fantasy but I found that Williamson's Endings pulled at the heart strings. In a world full of elves I discovered a fight against tyranny and the right of justice.
