Daniel Whittman

My favorite authors are Steven Koontz and Lee Child thus most of my main characters are as decent as Jack Reacher and as powerful as most of the evil spirits in Koontz's novels. Every one of my novels is a wild ride into a gripping and satisfying adventure. Do yourself a favor. Read one and tell your friends about it.

Perhaps readers have overlooked my completed children's novel titled, Astonishing Nina. It is an amazing adventure for any child or adult. My favorite novels are good enough for me to read again and again, unlike the vast majority of other books I have read. My novels are exciting, fast paced, satisfying and hours of fun.

The following is a silly little poem for you:

The Vampire
The vampire was in the hospital with white pasty skin.
While the priest was giving him the last rites, he planned to sin.
“Closer,” mumbled the cursed specimen named Fudd.
The priest leaned closer and gave up all of his tainted blood.

Fudd jumped off the bed quickly over the cold, dead sinful man.
Dancing a jig the jubilant vampire was almost tan.
With the priest’s shoes, porn, socks, underwear, cross and white collar
He administered to the flock before they could holler

I have been diagnosed with ALS disease. It is a fatal fast acting disease. It has been a miserable 24 months since the onset.

Smashwords book reviews by Daniel Whittman

  • Dampier Falls on Dec. 21, 2009

This was a good short story. I read it last night. It kept me interested after the opening. Daniel Whittman It would be nice if every reader rated what they read both for the author and the reading public.
  • Regent on Dec. 22, 2009

Another interesting thriller. I liked it better than the other one. Daniel Whittman
  • Hero Wanted on Dec. 30, 2009

The book was full of action and conflict. The hero was a lot bigger than life which was also good escape reading. It was also funny. The only thing that bothered me were too many unbelievable awesome escapes from death.
  • 80 Years + ? = Next Depression on Dec. 31, 2009

This short piece is another hate the rich and hate the achievers piece. The causes of the great depression were many of the rich losing almost everything in the stock market crash, fear, falling home values, banks failing, and massive unemployment. FDR promised help but like Obama he believed in communism. Like Obama he hated the private sector. He created public work projects paid for by the much bigger federal government. The depression lingered as a consequence until the start of the second world war. FDR had part of four terms to try to institute communism into practice and succeeded to a large extent. Obama is moving the communist manifesto along much better than FDR. If he has two terms with a cooperative congress the second depression will likely occur.
  • Freedom Incorporated on Dec. 31, 2009

It is a spellbinding story. I liked a lot about the story except the socialistic solution and environmental preaching. The main character getting killed off in the end was disappointing. Freedom from global corporations is a lot different than personal freedom. I did like all of it before the cyborg showed up again after he was killed by the best assassin.
  • Mortal Ghost on Jan. 02, 2010

This was a very interesting book with a lot of twists and turns. Some of the magic was difficult to follow. it did become clear later but I did not like the ending
  • The Birth of Pony Robyn on Jan. 18, 2010

The story was interesting all the way through. To me the direction it went after Robyn went to the ranch was depraved, pointless and horror worse than slavery. One glaring point is top sales people are people persons with lots of friends. Second who the hell would buy a shit and piss stained pony girl? Putting hooves on her was ridiculous. Will the owner hitch her to a plow? In addition if a girl or guy not used to running could be trained to run all day everyone would be a champion marathon runner. Most people would drop dead of a heart attack. Finally breaking a person down does not include regular sleep or drugged stupor, it needs the victim awake. No amount of conditioning could make a human think she was a horse. The reminders of the torture should make her go in a murderous rage at her tormentor at her first chance with those heavy hooves as her best weapon.
  • Office Girls : A Short Filthy Office Femdom Farce on Jan. 18, 2010

This was interesting but rather unbelievable.
  • Is That You? on Jan. 19, 2010
    (no rating)
The novel was very interesting at the start. Multiple viewpoints destroyed the continuity with the main character for me. That is why i am not rating this novel. It did not help that the main character was habitually drunk. I expect Collin's life does improve greatly. Other readers might find this novel much more fascinating than I did. The writer is talented and can use humor.
  • By the Clock on Jan. 19, 2010

The short story is interesting, tasteful and satisfying. The surprise ending was also a nice touch.
  • The Hitler File EXCERPTS on Jan. 19, 2010

An intriguing look at one conspiracy of Hitler and his subordinates implicating a momentous happening in the future. The multiple viewpoints destroyed my interest mostly.
  • Expressions of Freedom on Jan. 21, 2010

Excellent story with plenty of conflict and surprises. I heartily recommend it!
  • Pay Back Clyde on Jan. 24, 2010

I loved this short story. It is funny and well written.
  • Three Year Old Slave Girl on Feb. 01, 2010

This is a heart warming story of a very poor child with no love improving her situation.
