Great book. I downloaded it off B&N for my Nook. I was truly impressed. I can honestly say that this is one of the best books by an indie writer that I have come across. Keep writing, I'll keep reading!
Very good book. I wish I could give it a 4.5/5 but since we can't do half stars I'll round up. My only piece of constructive criticism I would have is that in the beginning it felt a little like I was meeting people very fast and there was not much to distinguish them from one another in my mind leading to it being hard at first for me to remember who it was that said or did what.
The other reason that I'll give it a five and round up is because there is always a chance that it was my fault and I was just a little more distracted than normal that day, which wouldn't surprise me.
All that being said, this is a very good book. I think that it had a great ending, very strong. I definitely plan to move onto the rest of the series eventually. Keep writing, we'll keep reading!
Would give this a 4.5/5 if I could do half stars but since we can't do that on Smashwords yet I always round up. ;-) Great book. I liked how there were no parts of it that really seemed to drag, nothing like a hundred pages of conversation about things that don't move the plot along much by minor characters. (I won't mention names.)
Very much look forward to checking out the next book in the series.
A good, fast read from a promising new writer in the Science Fiction Genre. The book drew me in and kept me reading finishing it in less than a day. It was the perfect break from the serious history textbooks I normally get bogged down in. Moving onto the sequel today!
