I knew about Peter Maurin from reading about Dorothy Day and the Catholic Worker movement. But, I didn't know a lot. This is a good, thorough, and informative presentation about the life of the movement's inspirational theorist. The fictionalized vignettes scattered through the book, illuminated his personal and spiritual growth in a warm and winning way. A very enjoyable and informative read!
