Former Hong Kong Government Chemist and former head of Hong Kong’s Forensic Science Laboratory, David Clarke has over thirty years experience in scientific crime investigation. On retirement to Tuscany, he fulfilled a life-long ambition by studying art restoration and learning Italian. David and his wife Gail (author and illustrator of a number of children's books : www.gailclarkeauthor.com now share their time mainly between Italy and Thailand, both wonderful places to indulge their joint passion for writing.
