I am David. I have a job. I have some interests. I like to write. (this is a flash bio)

Okay…that was a flash bio. But I guess I do like when people say a little bit more…but not to the point of self-indulgence (to which I am highly prone). So, I’ll simply say that I write for the sheer pleasure of it. I believe in creative, honest expression as an outlet for my humanity. I see myself as a beacon of creative hope for the nations. Take my writing, break it, and eat this remembering me. Take my creative life blood and drink deeply of it. Let it revive your…see what I mean? This is why I should have stuck with the flash bio.

David Hill Burns, born in 1973, lives in Oklahoma with his wife and kids and is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma. He enjoys writing a range of genres, exploring themes often running deep into human relationships and development.

He also enjoys absurdity.
