Residing in Germany since 1984 and linguistically integrated into the new society, fluent conversation dwindled as friends returned to the U.S.A. Since a few years, I’ve discovered new medication for my affliction, (see my Autobiography: “Gallant I stand with My Shaking Hands"), so now I’m able to type again. I found enjoyment in writing stories, ergo; I started my new hobby, with eclectic themes spanning the entire spectrum. Sometimes I will know the word in German, forgotten the English word, and need Bing Translator, but with each new story my vocabulary is getting back up to par. So, in the hope that you all enjoy what I write, I’ll continue as long as possible. And if you like my writing, especially if you paid for one of my stories, I would appreciate it if you'd post a review at Smashwords, and/or the retailer. And don't forget to share my link on Facebook, Linked In, Google+, Redit, Pinterest, or any of the many other social media sites.
Near the bottom of each books page is “Also by This Author”, but unfortunately it list only the latest Ten E-Books. A complete list is at the bottom of my interview page: simply click on the interview hyperlink below.
p.s. And don’t forget: "If you don't know what a word means, don't ignore the chance to look it up!”
Greetings from Stuttgart Germany!
What inspires authors to write, and what do they achieve through writing?
Writers have stories that they need to write, similiar to a baker's desire to bake. It's also the satisfaction which comes when the story is finished, and the writer is happy with what he created out of his imagination. Sometimes the hardest part is creating a cover for the story! But in addition to our own satisfaction after creation, we also yearn for acceptance and praise from our readers, for that is the best payment one can recieve, good reviews.
I find it surprising that readers download my creations, but cannot take the time to post a review.
The third book of short poems dealing with daily life. As I go through the daily humdrum of life, I observe things and start to rhyme words together. Sometimes a poem will simply flow out of me and other times I have to find words that rhyme and fit the theme of the poem. But it brings enjoyment to me and hopefully to you my faithful readers.

The God Mars Book One: CROATOAN
on Feb. 05, 2016
Croatoan is a book packed full of action, and with the turning of the pages, always a new unexpected turn of events. Superbly written and simply stocked full of little details which entrance the reader, ergo, making it difficult to take a break in reading!
Sadly, I'm only allowed from Smashword to give a maximum of 5 Stars, for this book is well above a 5 Star Rating.
Now I'm off to discover more from this talented Author.
on Feb. 12, 2016
I seriously enjoyed this book. Fast, lots of different twists and it shows that normal people have their dark sides.
Hands of the Traitor
on Feb. 17, 2016
I first read Shout in the Dark, and it was very well written. The adventure of Matt Rider in Hands of the Traitor is excellent. It is written so that one becomes obsessed with finding out what the next chapter holds in store. One can also see that there was extensive research made to make this story as good as it is.
I am definitely looking forward to delving into the further adventures of Matt and Zoè.
on Feb. 20, 2016
Another book where the quality is above the retail price of Free. This story wouldn't let me alone till I had finished reading it.
Looking forward to more episodes!
Shroud of the Healer
on Feb. 20, 2016
First `Shout in the Dark`, then the `Hands of the Traitor`. Now after reading Shroud of the Healer, I'm thoroughly convinced as to the quality of this Author's writing. Superbly action packed and the ending (I won't spoil it for others!) was great!
Keep on writing man!
p.s. Now to start on Eagle of Darkness!
Eagle of Darkness
on Feb. 24, 2016
Although Panya is relegated to living in a wheelchair, the ending is more truthful than most novels. For not all hero's are untouched when the day is done. Does the novel have a continuation in the making? Or does Kramer simply let bygones be bygones?
Next up is Academy of the Dead and I'm sure I won't be disappointed. Job well done!
Academy of the Dead
on Feb. 27, 2016
And another great story with Matt and Zòe! I seriously thought she had lost the baby, but now I know I have to look for the 4th installment. If I can find it, I'll learn what happens to Jack!
This series rocks!

I got to Chapter seven and almost died laughing.
FBI Agent Ballza Steele?
on Feb. 29, 2016
Okay, I finished the story and found only one slip-up. Edsel Kovac would never jump in to save Jimmy from drowning in crystal lake, more likely he would have pushed our two hero's in after him and keep the money for himself! But that aside, it was a good story with almost no grammatical mistakes. Unfortunately, I found this one before finding "Welcome to Gray City"! All in all a very good book!
Adam The Office Ninja
on March 30, 2016
This was a great short story. I especially laughed at the paper Ninja stars! And the ending was superb as the boss realized that he shafted himself!
The Blood Calls You Back
on March 30, 2016
A real sassy adventure which takes the reader into a whole different world. This was highly enjoyable as it was so different from the usual themes and subjects of short stories.
on March 30, 2016
This short story makes one stop and think. Fantasy and non-fiction wrapped up all in one story.
Newcomer: Chapter 1- A Serial Flash Fiction Novel
on Sep. 27, 2016
Okay, I first read this in the waiting room at the Doctors office. Then after seeing the reviews, I proofread it three times very slowly. I could not find where Cali's name changes to "Ran". But I found a typo which I won't mention here. Attempted to E-Mail Mike White at the Address he posted, only to recieve a Daemon Mail Return. Twitter doesn't even come into question for me, for I'm not a bird! (-:
Trotzdem: Liked it a lot!
A Taste Of My Thoughts Happy Turkeymas Day

So true. But it is only due to our own vacuity that corporations can capitalize on our own ignorance and: eg, (sell christmas cookies before halloween!)
Weird, Wonderful and Worrisome Stories
on May 01, 2017
Spelling mistakes, literally obscure storylines, but seeing as it's your first one, continue writing. The cursed paintings could be easily rewritten to at least 20-30,000 words, for the base subject of the story has potential.
on May 07, 2017
A very good short story, and although a couple of spelling mistakes, it was still good and a very different ending than most crime stories. One can overlook the mistakes, for writers sometimes "can't see the woods because of the trees". I have the same problem!
The first review also commented on mistakes, and made one in the review, which shows that we are all falible.
A Night To Forget
on May 20, 2017
Timeline mistakes and repititous sentences. Needs to be proof read before uploading to correct mistakes. But the storyline wasn't bad.
All The Way Down
on May 20, 2017
Good descriptive writing. Expansive details in some parts and in others they are cut and clean to the point, just as life is. Delorean's one man that everybody can relate to in such situations. Now onward to the second part of the series and hoping that a third comes later.
All The Way Under
on July 05, 2017
The second part of the Delorean Trilogy is just as excellent as the first, with the continuation of the story and characters flowing seamlessly into the story from the first book. Hopefully "All the way Back" comes soon, for I'll be waiting for it!

All The Way Back
on Oct. 13, 2017
Book three of the Delorean Trilogy surpassed my expectations. The attention to past details is difficult to keep in order, but Kearns pulls it off effortlessly. Was surprised though that he finally settled down with *****. Would never ruin the story for future readers!
Maybe another book farther down the road in Deloreans new life?
on Nov. 21, 2017
I found Found, (found)ed on the first book Lost, pro(found)ly interesting in that it plays out similar to the 2008 film Vantage Point. I also found that although the storyline is known from Lost, I found Found not the least bit boring or repetitious. A very good read and I’m looking forward to continuing the sojourn in the next book, Reunited.
on Jan. 01, 2018
After having stumbled upon the first book in this Series titled Lost, I was priviliged to receive the next two books for very enjoyable reading. This is a Series that is well written and definitely worth purchasing. The Series is also one of those that one can re-read again and again, as there is always something to discover between the lines. Reunited was a great twist in the Series and one that is hard to put down until it's finished.
Keep up the great writiing Jodie Kae, for you truly have a great talent.
