David Ross Wood lives in Adelaide, South Australia. He began publishing his work in 2012 and has now published four novels. David is currently working on a fifth story which he hopes will be out by the end of 2019. He lives with his wife and two of his three sons and enjoys reading, movies and sport, (at least when he can find the time.) He also enjoys taking his writing buddy, a Miniature Schnauzer called Tex for long walks.
Who are your favorite authors and why?
Tom Clancy, Clive Cussler, Steven King and Wilbur Smith among many others. I like different authors for different reasons. Tom Clancy gives a lot of technical detail to his work, Clive Cussler keeps the action coming, while Steven King is fantastic at character development. Wilbur Smith writes great historical fiction but the one thing in common with all of these authors is that they write a great story.
How do you approach cover design?
I want the cover to say a couple of things. Firstly the layout needs to grab the attention of the potential reader, then I want it to give some insight into the story that I have told.
