Biography
It's David, but everyone calls me DJ. I write novels, short stories, flash fiction, poems, and scripts for the radio, too. I have a short film in the works, so I'm looking forward to getting a bit of directing in there, too. Music is my other big "thing," I'm into rock and most things with guitar, and I enjoy making a bit of that too.
I have just completed an honours degree in English Literature and Language at the University of Liverpool, and will be studying for an MA in Renaissance and Eighteenth Century Literature next year. I have previously written a number of short stories and poems which have won competitions in writing magazines, as well as being featured in literary anthologies. My creative writing blog on tumblr is currently featured in the Writer’s Spotlight, a directory for the top writing blogs on the website.
